A postcard of Scollay Square which is now Government Center. Everything was done away and rebuilt during the great "urban renewal" projects of the 1960's. Many people wish we still had Old Scollay Square.

Over the years I have heard much of Scollay square. I was just a young kid when it was torn down and I remember city hall plaza being built.
Having experienced years of the City Hall Plaza wasteland you can count me among those who would rather have Scollay Square.
