Sunny Bench

Extremely cold weather with high barometic pressure makes for brillant sunlight. This bench is at the Charles/MGH (Massachusetts General Hospital) T-Stop on the Red Line. Got my foot x-rayed today. Excellent results. Hopefully in a week I will start wearing flat shoes instead of a plastic aircast. Need to practice walking at home without cast before going out on the streets. Yippee! Almost over. Hopefully I will get around more soon to take photos of something more than my worn path of routine daily life.

Frosty Bench

Caught this bench moments after a squall ended. For those in warmer climates, a squall is an intense snowstom which is characterized by very large flakes resulting in an almost total "white out," that is, little or no visibility, as well as, very high and gusting winds. A squall lasts about 10 minutes and vanishes. This one dropped about one half an inch of snow which promptly blew away.
