Monment found on Commonwealth Avenue Mall. I always thought this kinda neat because the person memorialized is in civilian clothing and not a war hero of some kind. Alas! When I googled, I find that although an academic tenured at Harvard University, Morison was the official historian for the U.S. Navy and a Rear Admiral.

Monment found on Commonwealth Avenue Mall. I always thought this kinda neat because the person memorialized is in civilian clothing and not a war hero of some kind. Alas! When I googled, I find that although an academic tenured at Harvard University, Morison was the official historian for the U.S. Navy and a Rear Admiral.
