This afternoon I was walking through Downtown Crossing, on Washington Street, and I saw these mounted police. I see them quite often there in the afternoons. I suppose they are there for crowd control. Afternoons can be quite crowded in this area. Many young people gather in Downtown Crossing after school. These horses may be big but they move very fast and seem oblivious to all the people. They are an attraction. These guys are being photographed all the time.
